Meet the Maker

Hi, friends!

I'm Brogan, the maker behind Everyday Wildflower.

A few random facts about me:

- Iced coffee is my love language. Always and always.

- I married my high school sweetheart in November 2020 and just welcomed our first baby this past December! We are beyond in love with her and cannot get enough of her.

- Neutral tones make my heart skip a beat. 

     All my life I have been creative. I enjoy all things crafts and DIY. I thank my grandma who was also crafty and always had a new project for us to work on. From painting rocks for her garden to making fairy dolls, she always had something up her sleeve. She will always be my inspiration behind my work.

     I first started this business with modern calligraphy and sign making. I dabbled in digital portraits for a short time but found all of the above to be too much pressure and I just was never enjoying myself during the creative process. When the pandemic hit in March 2020 I needed a way to make money but felt like I couldn't find my voice in the maker world. One day I decided I was going to teach myself how to make earrings from polymer clay because I desperately needed a creative outlet during quarantine. It wasn't long before a spark ignited and I truly felt passionate about what I was making. In May 2020 I decided to start selling very small batches of earrings (I'm talking 10 pairs at a time) and they were received so well from my friends and customers. The rest is history!

     Polymer clay is not new in the jewelry and fashion world, I know. My goal with my earrings is that they will spark confidence for my people in my small town. As someone who has struggled with her self confidence all her life, earrings make a huge difference for me! For some people it's makeup or a bold lipstick that makes them feel beautiful. I encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and find what makes you feel your best self. Maybe that step is wearing a new bold pair of earrings. It make be the best step you ever took!
